- Interpret blueprints, process sheets, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine assignment plans, layouts, and sequences of operations.
- Select and apply the most suitable tooling, materials, and equipment to optimize production efficiency and quality.
- Perform precision machining operations, including turning, milling, drilling, boring, and grinding, to meet exact specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and quality control standards.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving machine malfunctions, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Document production and quality control data accurately and maintain records as required.
- Higher education or specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in precision machining, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and quality.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
