Enterprise Technology Infrastructure, Platforms & Services (ETIPS) delivers services and operational support to meet business integration objectives. Architecture leadership to provide scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure solutions to meet care delivery business needs and enable future business growth.

As a Principal Network Engineer your responsibilities include administration, maintenance, architecture, and engineering related to on-premise network and solutions. This includes, direct support, technical ownership, and leading others with regards to the platforms.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Designing and planning new networks by creating network architectures that meet or exceed client requirements
  • Identifying client needs including assessing infrastructure needs and propose solutions
  • Presenting proposals and findings to clients, shareholders, and directors
  • Train and mentor other network engineers by guiding and supporting work
  • Maintaining existing networks to ensure smooth operation and troubleshoot issues as they arise

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of networking engineering
  • 7+ years of networking experience
  • 1+ year of Dev OPS experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
