Role Overview:

Apollo Inc is seeking a Senior Avionics Engineer to oversee aircraft electrical systems, including Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and the coordination of new technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and allocate Engineering Task Cards/Authorizations for avionics and related system repairs and modifications.
  • Provide technical guidance for fleet upgrades and modifications.
  • Review and address Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and Service Letters related to avionics and electrical systems.
  • Act as the primary contact for vendors regarding technical issues and establish procedures for resolution.
  • Collaborate with various departments to address and prevent deficiencies in aircraft electrical systems.
  • Enhance maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, task cards, and service bulletins concerning avionics.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of ten years in a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in the airline industry.
  • Strong engineering, computer, and technical knowledge.
  • Ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional mathematical skills.
  • Proficient in applying logical and scientific principles to various challenges.
  • Eligibility to obtain a MSP SIDA Badge.
