Job Summary

The Associate Recruiter screens resumes of applicants in the application tracking system (ATS) to ensure they are minimally qualified against the job description. They will have direct interaction with the candidates when there are questions about their background, experience and required skills. The Associate Recruiter will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating resumes to identify the most qualified candidates for various positions within TriWest. This role is crucial in ensuring that our hiring process is efficient and provides a positive candidate experience.

Education & Experience

Required:


• U.S. Citizen

• Must be able to receive a favorable Interim and adjudicated final Department of Defense (DoD) background investigation

• High School diploma or G.E.D. 1+ years of corporate, staffing/search firm recruiting or recruiting coordinator experience

• Experience working in a high volume and high intensity environment

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient with MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook

• Strong communication skills - verbal and written Comfortable interfacing directly with hiring managers

• Demonstrated success in working independently and producing high quality work

Preferred:


• Experience utilizing PeopleSoft e-Recruit on-line recruiting tool

Key Responsibilities


• Partners closely with Sr. Recruiters on their open job requisitions and supports the prescreening process from the application in the ATS.

• Evaluate candidates' education, experience, and skills against job requirements.

• Will have email and phone communication with candidates to prequalify against a job description when there are not enough details on the resume and application to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for the role.

• Ask standardized questions to gather relevant information.

• Dispositions candidates in ATS based on meeting qualifications.

• Administers Predictive Index tool.

• Regular and consistent attendance.

• Extensive computer work with prolonged sitting, wearing of headset, typing, speaking on a phone.
