Join Our Team as a Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Academy Bus in Secaucus, NJ. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of modern tour buses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex diesel engine issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections and road tests
  • Recondition and repair bus components, such as brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
  • Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with other mechanics to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
Requirements:
  • 4-7 years of experience in diesel engine maintenance
  • Valid driver's license and basic computer skills
  • Proven ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments
  • Must have own tools and be able to work independently
