Position Description

This is a part-time position responsible for educating students in Psychiatry rotations. Contributes to the university's mission through teaching, research and service, some variation by academic unit.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Contributes to the university's mission through teaching, patient care, research and service.
  • Teaching residents and medical students.
  • Giving lectures and teaching sessions to residents and medical students.
  • Medical practice areas include Psychiatry and Pediatric/Child Psychology.
  • Adhere to institutional and departmental policies and procedures.
Occasional Duties
  • Maintain or develop an academic research program in the fields of Psychiatry and Pediatric/Child Psychology.
  • May conduct inpatient teaching rounds.
Required Qualifications

Must have a MD, DO, MBBS or foreign equivalent degree. Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Texas. Board certified in Psychiatry.
