Job Summary

We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you'll play a vital role in coordinating patient care, performing medical testing, and educating patients on special testing procedures.

Our ideal candidate is a team player with a passion for healthcare, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care, including scheduling appointments and preparing patients for exams
  • Perform medical testing, such as strep and flu testing, urinalysis, and blood pressure measurements
  • Educate patients on special testing procedures, such as sleep studies and hormone testing
  • Collaborate with the office coordinator to improve patient and physician care
  • Work closely with the physician to anticipate patient needs and prepare the clinic for exams
Requirements
  • High school diploma with some clinical experience
  • Strong standards for self-management and discipline
  • Technologically literate with efficient dictation and typing skills
  • Proficient with basic procedures and tests
  • High emotional intelligence and adaptability
