Job Summary
The Automation Engineer is part of our AGV team and responsible for the technical design of our Jungheinrich Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) projects. You are enhancing our customers supply chain processes through the efficient installation of our automated solutions.

Your Responsibilities

Independent technical lead for the design of logistic systems with focus on material handling/ warehouse technology/ automationSupport in creating the System Specifications (all technical and design aspects)Coordinating the technical design with the Implementation teamDevelopment of risk assessments with input from the Field EngineerAssurance of customer satisfaction throughout the implementation phaseSupport the Technical Sales department for technical and scoping questions in the pre-sales phase

Your Experience & Education

Bachelors degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or similarMinimum 3 years of work experience in the field of automation designStrong CAD and tool-chain comprehensionExperience in designing and conducting system simulationsExperience in the realization of automation projects is an advantageKnowledge in PLC programming and/or similar programs preferredExperience with remote trouble shooting
