Automation Systems Engineer / Electromechanical Design Engineer needed for a leading manufacturer specializing in precision measurement instruments and software solutions, primarily serving the oil and gas sector.

The ideal candidate for the Automation Systems Engineer / Electromechanical Design Engineer role will possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.

Compensation Package

Salary range: $85,000 - $95,000

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop advanced mechatronic systems, automation machinery, and electromechanical devices, overseeing the entire process from initial concept through to production.

Work collaboratively with cross-disciplinary teams to define system requirements, specifications, and performance standards.

Perform comprehensive feasibility studies, risk evaluations, and cost-benefit analyses to guide effective decision-making.

Create detailed design documentation, schematics, and technical drawings using CAD software.

Develop and implement control algorithms, firmware, and software specifically for embedded systems and microcontrollers.

Conduct extensive testing and validation of prototypes, analyzing test results to enhance designs for maximum performance and reliability.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline is essential.

At least 3 years of experience in mechatronics design, development, and implementation, preferably with a background in tooling and gauge manufacturing.

Expertise in CAD software, such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD, for sophisticated 3D modeling and technical documentation.

Strong programming capabilities in languages such as C/C++, Python, and MATLAB are required.

Familiarity with motion control systems and industrial automation technologies is a plus.
