As Global Controller, you'll oversee our legal identities in Germany and China, and provide continued support with M&A activities for future expansion.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's business objectives


Collaborate with department heads under the direction of the CFO to develop and implement budgets and departmental reporting, including business unit level reporting, monthly budget versus actuals, etc.

Identify areas for increased efficiency and collaborate with internal teams to automate and streamline processes


Lead integration of accounting and finance functions during M&A activities, including coordination of valuation engagements, purchase price allocations, and associated accounting practices.

Train and mentor finance team members to ensure high level of competency and efficiency

Oversee the preparation, analysis, and interpretation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, and tax returns, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance

Manage lender reporting requirements, including the preparation of quarterly compliance certificates, monitoring debt covenants, and related tasks

Prepare and coordinate external audits and manage other professional engagements including i) annual financial statement audit, ii) corporate taxes, iii) annual R&D tax credit study, iv) other F&A professional engagements as needed.

Monitor cash flow and provide regular reports to the executive team

Mange the AP, AR, Cash management, and payroll departments and functions

Qualifications:
7-10+ years of experience in accounting and finance roles, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred

Extensive experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Sage, etc), including implementation and integration projects; direct experience with system conversion preferred

Strong understanding of international accounting principles and experience managing and consolidating international subsidiaries

Experience in a high-volume transaction (i.e., e-commerce) environment preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders

Proven track record of building and developing teams, driving process improvement initiatives, and delivering results in a fast-paced, growth environment

Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
