Description

Steelcase is hiring a Regional Education Manager to drive Education business and be a learning environment expert within the Dallas market You'll be accountable for developing business that leads to key wins in both the Higher Education and K-12 segments.

What You Will Be Doing:

You will stay abreast on education trends and identify opportunities to apply our research and insights to help customers solve problems and overcome obstacles. You will develop deep business relationships with dealer, education customers and key influencers to secure product specifications and close profitable sales. You will be based in the greater Dallas area covering an assigned larger geographic region.

A critical component of this role is managing through distribution and longer, complex selling cycles. You will act as designated design, technical or learning product expert as needed, and act as a coach/mentor for other team members and dealer sales professionals to ensure market/account plans are executed and business is secured.

Required Education/Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a consultative sales or design background in Education and/or Interiors and a Bachelor's degree. In lieu of industry specific experience, will consider candidates who have a background in value-based or solution-based selling and demonstrate the necessary skills to achieve success.
