Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as the Manager of Life New Business. The Manager provides leadership to a team of Case Managers who support our Diamond Club agents. The Manager must be committed to establishing and sustaining a strong, professional, and focused team engaged in productive collaboration with the Team's designated distribution partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Lead, mentor and manage Case Managers ensuring efficient processing of Life New Business so that service levels are maintained. Manage the processing team to provide our distribution partners the most efficient, productive, and satisfying life insurance application experience possibleImplement individual and team goals that align with broader departmental and organizational objectivesFoster a culture of excellence and high performance by providing advanced coaching and development opportunities to team membersProvide regular feedback and coaching to team members, supporting their professional developmentOversee and optimize production activities for multiple production sites, maintaining superior service standardsUphold rigorous productivity and quality standards through comprehensive audits and reviewsMaintain a deep and comprehensive knowledge of our products, services, systems, and business processes to ensure top-tier operational efficiencyAddress customer and agent inquiries with urgency and efficiency, ensuring their needs are met and exceededResponsible for collaboration across distribution and enterprise-wide teamsThis position is presently onsite/hybrid with the expectation of being in the office three days per week with current campus days being Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (subject to change with advance notification and manager discretion). Job RequirementsBachelor's degree in related field5 -10 years of business experience in the life and annuity industry preferred; solid understanding of distribution, marketing, and operations requiredStrong Command Skills (Leadership)Effective at Motivating and Managing Vision & PurposeDemonstrated strength in Building Effective Teams and Developing Direct Reports and OthersStrong written and verbal communication skills and effectiveness in a collaborative work environment; must be able to meet established deadlinesAbility to successfully pass a background check that may include fingerprinting

The base compensation range represents the low and high end of the range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and experience. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees.Other rewards may include an annual bonus, quarterly bonuses, commissions, and other long-term incentive compensation, depending on the position. National Life offers a competitive total rewards package which includes: a 401(k) retirement plan match; medical, dental, and vision insurance; a company funded wellness account for director and below employees; 10 paid holidays; a generous paid time off plan (22 days of combined time-off for non-exempt employees and exempt employees have discretion in managing their time, including scheduling time off in the normal course of business, but in no event will exempt employees receive less sick time than required by state or local law); 6 weeks of paid parental leave; and 6 weeks of paid family leave after a year of full-time employment.National Life is accepting applications for this role on an ongoing basis and the role remains open until filled.
