Job Summary

The Student Assistant will support the Chick Fil A as a Food Service Associate on the Armstrong Campus beginning Spring 2024.
Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.


Responsibilities
  • Prepares fresh food items
  • Stocks inventory
  • Provides customer service functions such as greeting customers and operating cash registers to complete cash and credit transactions
  • Keeps kitchen and dining room areas clean and neat
  • Works with various kitchen equipment
  • Empties trash cans
  • Fills condiment dispensers
  • Vacuums as needed

Shift Specifics

  • Up to 25 hours per week
  • Flexible with schedule of availability
  • 5 positions: 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM, Monday, Wednesday, & Friday
  • 5 positions: 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM, Monday, Wednesday, & Friday
  • 5 positions: 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM, Tuesday & Thursday
  • 5 positions: 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM, Tuesday & Thursday

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University

Proposed Salary

$10.00 per hour
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
