Responsibilities as a Trimmer Trainee at Lewis:

  • Participate in an innovative climbing skills training program
  • Work closely in a team environment
  • Perform line clearing, tree trimming, and pruning duties
  • Climb trees for manual trimming and removal near power lines
  • Operate and maintain various tools and equipment
  • Clean up debris, apply chemicals, and ensure safety standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum six months experience working around utility wires
  • Physical ability for labor-intensive tasks
  • Capability to operate equipment and endure weather variations
  • Willingness to obtain required certifications and training
  • First Aid and CPR certifications
  • Pass pre-employment screenings
  • Valid Driver's License
