SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking a Administrative Resident/Fellow to join our Health Equity team. This is a 2 year temporary MHA fellowship that was agreed upon last year for a MHA fellow in health equity. It is full time with benefits, starting July 2024 and ending August 2026.

Purpose of this position: Residency experience will vary widely depending in the needs of the resident/fellow, the organization, and the environment in which the organization operates. The residency program should be developed jointly by the resident and supervisor to reflect specific needs of the organization for professional development and build a resume attractive for career advancement while contributing to the organization's achieving its objectives. Leads and directs projects of strategic value that are intended to add value to the organization and directly add benefit to the operating units

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Direct and manage strategically valued projects throughout the system as assigned, such as process redesign, service line initiatives, program implementation, etc
  • Active involvement with and exposure to a variety of managerial and leadership issues in order to further develop skills for future leadership opportunities
  • Participate as active member in leadership and executive planning sessions, both routine and strategic
  • Performs other related duties as requested to meet organizational needs, but only after appropriate training

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master of Healthcare Administration or equivalent from an accredited graduate program. Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, but not required
