Pay

$27.35 per hour

Job Purpose

Quality Team Coordinator is the front line, production floor quality leader. Proactively confirm and reactively resolve production quality requirements (process/associate/equipment daily confirmation; transmission functional impact of production related problems and performing change point confirmation) by identification, execution, training and communication to ensure harmonious flow within the area of responsibility.

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead/Manage/Train Quality Staff and Engage all production associates to prioritize Quality
  • Model Change Confirmation (Exclusive Part Control/Verification)
  • Torque Audit Confirmation
  • Soft Side Document Verification (Repair Tags, Checksheets, QMS Compliance)
  • Equipment Alarm Verification (Quality Confirmation of Equipment Recovery)
  • Supplier Part and In-House Process verification (impact to transmission quality)
  • Associate Training Verification (Sign-off)
  • Gauge Control (Wrenches, Fixtures, Gauges, Granite Tables, Equipment Masters, etc.)
  • Coverage for mass production (poor manpower, training, etc.)
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Minimum Experience:

  • 1 year experience in Manufacturing related field

Other Job-Specific Skills:

  • Communication
Working Conditions
  • Must be flexible to work any / all Overtime requirements
  • Must be willing to work over Company Shutdown for project or production confirmation
  • Could be asked to perform as an online associate or a peer level associate, based on manpower needs.
