THE WORK

In the Operations Program Manager role, you will support programs in the Land and Maritime market segments. This role will include responsibility for financial performance and the execution of specific scope within those programs.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:


• Serve as Control Account Manager (CAM). Responsible for the overall technical, cost, schedule, and quality commitments and performance for the Production Operations scope within the program


• Manage Production Operations Risk & Opportunities within Program's ROADs database.


• Responsible for the development and integration of all Operations/Manufacturing efforts within the program


• Addresses staffing, resource, and infrastructure needs for Operations/Manufacturing; ensure that Operations/Manufacturing is represented on appropriate IPTs


• Engage in Operations Excellence Teams (OET) as advocate for your program


• Lead proposal efforts for Operations in partnership with the Site Proposal and Manufacturing Finance team


• POC for Cross-plant planning coordination, partnering with other site manufacturing operations representatives as needed


• Launch demand in MRP system in partnership with master scheduling and finance


• Conducts operations kick offs for new business

Our functional group, the Operations Program Management team, is composed of 30 professionals with a range of skill and experience. Our team serves as Control Account Managers (CAMs) responsible for material budget and operations labor scope. We are leaders in this organization who are the primary interfaces between line of business Program Management, Operations, Engineering, Sourcing, Quality or other company functions for production, development, and capture programs for Production Operations. We ensure seamless support throughout the production process, ensuring successful delivery of contracted projects for our valued customers. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that the TLS factories and their programs operate on schedule and meet commitments. We drive momentum through action, and focus on the small wins while driving towards the overall objectives.

Basic Qualifications:


• Candidate must posses Control Account Management (CAM) experience.


• Bachelor's degree in associated discipline


•Candidate must possess prior leadership experience

Desired Skills:


•Experience in Production Operations or working on programs


•Experience with SAP/COS, or equivalent Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools


•LM21 Green Belt, Black Belt or equivalent Lean/Six Sigma training


•Advanced Microsoft Excel skills


•Exposure to development programs and experience coordinating development between Operations and Engineering


•Proactive and self-starter


•Ability to develop, coordinate, lead, and execute daily priorities


•Experience coordinating tasks and actions with multiple functions


•Motivational skills along with the ability to energize teams


•Strong communication skills and the ability to work with limited supervision

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
