Finance business partner for Global Banking Credit and Lending (C&L)/ Real Assets and Structured Finance (RASF), provides Global Banking financial analysis to drive business performance and support management decision-making. Works with senior management and Finance partners to provide financial and technical analysis and recommendations regarding current performance, pricing models and business opportunities, and/or internal/external measurements. Leads all reporting, planning and forecasting activities and a key point of contact for various stress testing cycles.
As our Senior Manager Business Finance Global Banking you will:

Manage relationships with key customers Manage and develop technical financial analysis, modeling and reporting to support business result tracking and decision-makingConduct qualitative and quantitative analysis and prepare metrics on assigned business area to include product pricing, business lines, channels, customers, new business opportunities, forecasts, incentives, budgets, external forces and trends and/or cost-benefit analysisDrive business performance and efficienciesLeads all reporting, planning and forecasting effortsServe as primary point of contact for stress testing activities (CCAR, PRA, etc)Drive usage and understanding of RWAs along with HORIS/Omnia information across the businessSupport the delivery of key business objectives through active participation in digital finance transformation and business projects / sub committees as required Customers / Stakeholders Respond to requests and inquiries from senior management, business managers, product development and marketing to prepare analysis and metricsProvide regular analysis and reports as well as analysis to support specific inquiries Leadership & TeamworkCreate and deliver presentations of analysis, trends, metrics and results. Support presentations with supporting analysis, assumptions, calculations and conclusionsConsult with executive management, corporate finance and other departments (i.e. risk management, marketing, etc.) to provide data and analysisPartner with the other Business Finance colleagues across global businesses, functions and DBS on all relevant mattersPartner with and influence the senior business management on all financial-related itemsPromote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand Operational Effectiveness & Control Assess the financial impact of analysis and make recommendations based on the results. Manage and develop methods, procedures, reports and databases for staff members to track and maintain data for analyticsTo implement the Group compliance policy locally by containing compliance risk in liaison with the Head of Group Compliance, Global Business Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer, ensuring adequate compliance resources and training, fostering a compliance culture and optimizing relations with regulatorsComplete other responsibilities, as assigned Major Challenges The role requires strong drive and the ability to influence others across the firm, especially since there are no direct reports. The role requires the ability to work independently. Authority is gained by influence. The role holder will need to ensure appropriate controls are in place to manage and measure the performance of the business and to help drive performance to achieve objectives Management of Risk Ensure compliance, operational risk controls in accordance with HSBC or regulatory standards and policies; and optimize relations with regulators by addressing any issuesPromote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brandWork within FIM guidelines for the global businesses and functions that we supportObservation of Internal ControlsMaintains HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $150,000.00 and $200,000.00
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
