Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Banking Analyst to join our team at HSBC. As a key member of our Global Banking division, you will be responsible for managing relationships with a group of North American Banks and other Financial Institutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support business origination and retention by developing a deep understanding of clients' business needs and identifying solutions that HSBC can deliver to meet their challenges and objectives.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that transactions are balancing risk, return, and profitability, and are in compliance with both internal and external requirements.
  • Develop and institutionalize effective and beneficial relationships with key buying windows at our clients and internally within HSBC.
  • Support the broader GB coverage team in their objectives, help drive revenue generation against targets, product alignment, client planning, client briefings, customer satisfaction, cost containment, and supporting development and training of more junior staff.
Requirements
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial drive and ability to work independently.
  • Extensive experience in markets, securities services, structured finance, transaction banking, and asset management.
  • Strong understanding of risk management and risk mitigation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to form effective relationships and exercise influence at the most senior level of the organization, both internally and externally.
