Ben Bridge Jeweler's Corporate office located in Downtown Seattle is seeking a Stock Receiver to join our Distribution team.

Job Summary: This person verifies accuracy of merchandise against invoice and purchase order checking quantity, cost, retail, description, metal, stones etc. of incoming merchandise. Checks invoices for all gemological enhancement and disclosure statements. Processes merchandise into the system. Works with buyers when items are missing, need corrections or if there are other issues to assure everything entered is accurate. Attention to detail is imperative. This position has daily interaction with the Distribution Supervisors and Distribution Director. As necessary the Associate will work and communicate with the Buying Department and Inventory Control.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prioritizing incoming merchandise
  • Communicating and following up with Buyers and vendors on issues that need resolving
  • Counting, Receiving, and costing incoming inventory while checking documents, descriptions for accuracy
  • Other assorted distribution tasks.

Qualifications and Required Skills:

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Computer experience and proficiency with Microsoft office suite
  • Ability to work some mandatory overtime on weekends seasonally.
  • Ability to work in team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and self-manage within strict timelines.
  • "Can do" customer service approach.
  • Ability to be clear, concise, and professional in all communication verbal and written.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Interactions:

This position requires teamwork within the Distribution department and primarily interacts with Distribution Supervisors, Buying team, and Inventory team.

Range: $ $23.00 per hour

Fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges. Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience levels, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

As a full-time associate, you will be eligible for health and welfare benefits. Paid training includes certification from the Gemological Institute of America (following completion of one year service time).
