Job Description

Key responsibilities for the Lean Manager:

Driving the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.Leading and managing lean projects, ensuring timely execution and successful completion.Analyzing current processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.Developing and implementing strategies to reduce waste and optimize productivity.Conducting training sessions and workshops to educate employees on lean methodologies and tools.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement.Monitoring and reporting on the progress of lean initiatives, using metrics and data analysis to track performance.Facilitating kaizen events and other improvement activities to engage employees in problem-solving and innovation.Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all lean initiatives.Providing leadership and guidance to teams, promoting a mindset focused on efficiency and operational excellence.

The Successful Applicant

Successful candidate for the Lean Manager role:

B.S. degree (engineering or technical preferred)Six Sigma Black Belt preferred, Six Sigma Greent Belt minimum10+ years of experience working within a Manufacturing environment Large Equipment manufacturing such as sheet metal, piping, mechancia & electrical assembly, etc.Motivated, Confident, Persistent & hands on on the floor when neededMixed Model Manufacturing EnvironmentsExperience with Lean Priciples & able to train and troublshoot with team
