Clinical Research Associate, temp–to–hire, Dedham, $27+/hr.

Local company specializing in clinical research consulting seeking a detail–oriented candidate with interest in auditing and research who is eager to learn and grow for a temp–to–hire opportunity.


This is a scientific, administrative, and interactive role consisting of extensive medical research and medical writing. You will constantly be challenged to think and demonstrate your thought process. There is a lot of team–focused, group and project work. Must be comfortable working alone and closely in a team.

Up to 50% travel will be required in this position. Candidate must be willing and able to travel around the USA and internationally when able. Travel will be to hospitals, doctor's offices, etc. and be anywhere from 1–5 days to a week.

Interested candidates MUST have a Bachelor's degree and be comfortable working in a role where every day is different based on client demands/needs.

Prior medical experience is ideal along with the desire to continue learning and researching. You will learn skill sets and regulatory requirements that will be applied in a variety of areas. Critical thinking and ability to apply educational material is key.

Position focuses on creating, reviewing and editing trial protocols, project plans, monitoring plans, communication plans, data collection guides and other trial materials:

Reviewing files and ensuring all documents are in place for audits. Will be trained on folder structures and will follow up with clients to obtain any missing documents (RESUME's of Doctors, etc.)

Eventually will be traveling on–site to medical offices, hospitals, etc.

to ensure all information is in place and that information in the medical records matches what's in the electronic data entry forms while reviewing regulatory files for compliance.


Lots of auditing of information to catch and correct any issues before problems arise for their clients. Detail focus and noticing items that don't look like the "others" are key.

Will eventually learn to write protocols (scientific research skills would be great to have)

Discretion is HUGE in this role. Candidate will take HIPPA training and must pass a background check before hire.

Must be personable and comfortable communicating with all levels in–person on–site.

Role requires extensive Excel (sorting, formulas, etc.) and Word (hyperlinking, comparing documents, redlining). They will train but must have a strong comfort level and interest in learning.
