Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team at New England Baptist Hospital. As a key member of our outpatient rehabilitation center, you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to provide high-quality care to patients with various orthopedic injuries and conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide delegated treatments to patients under the direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
  • Assist with patient education and instruction on proper exercise form and equipment usage.
  • Document patient progress and report responses to treatment to the primary therapist.
  • Perform non-treatment related activities such as maintaining departmental supplies and assisting with secretarial duties.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field, such as Exercise Physiology or Athletic Training.
  • American Heart Association Heart Saver certification or BLS required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
