Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer orientated Operations Site Manager (Marine Corp Air Station Beaufort) to join our team supporting NSWC Corona Range Systems Department to manage the Naval Integrated Training Environment (NITE) contract. This position will work on site at a government facility at MCAS Beaufort.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Reports directly to the East Coast Program Manager; will be a manager of managers.
  • Manages a team of ManTech and sub-contractor support personnel supporting the NITE contract in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
  • Coordinates with East Coast Program Manager, NITE Management Staff, Maintenance Manager, and RS Range Managers for team daily/weekly and long-range work assignments and support requirements.
  • Manages the activities of training sites.
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures as well as ensures compliance with these procedures.
  • Evaluates activities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • May coordinate communication between different functions.
  • Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
  • Enforces work standards, assigns contractor schedules, reviews work discrepancies, supervises contractor personnel, and communicates policies, purposes, and goals of the organization to subordinates.
  • Supports a team environment based on mutual respect and teamwork, dedicated to innovation and effective, efficient work practices.
  • Supports the Task Order Program Manager in providing overall excellent contract performance to the client as outlined by CPAR.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 7 years of DoD training Range Experience
  • 3 years of professional experience in managerial experience on DoD efforts
  • Experience managing dispersed workforce in support of DoD training range requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field
  • Familiarity with the United States Navy
  • Familiarity with synthetic training environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Clearance Requirements:

  • DOD Secret

Physical Requirements:

  • Little travel anticipated
  • Work will require movement between government sites in Hampton Roads area for client meetings and support functions.
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which will involve delivering presentations.
