Must be a strong communicator. This position requires independence and accountability as well as collaborating with your team. You'll be responsible for managing client relationships via regularly planned client-lifecycle touch points and working with clients to identify business challenges that Cerium can resolve. You will continuously exemplify Cerium's core values of Drive, Development, Flexibility, Relentlessness and Collaboration.

This is a hybrid work location position where Account Executives are both in the office 2-3 days a week and out seeing prospects and clients. Successful candidates must reside in the territory they are applying for.

Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with new prospective clients and representing the company.
  • Developing and qualifying new business opportunities within the targeted markets through phone, by email, social networking, in person, events, and high-level prospecting.
  • Researching prospects and generating leads.
  • Handling client questions, inquiries, and complaints.
  • Managing existing client relationships. Increase client satisfaction by regular contact to understand and act on their needs and changes in their business.
  • Articulating the solutions and services available to clients and teaming up with technical resources to tailor it to client-specific needs.
  • Consistently achieving monthly, quarterly and annual goals.
  • Preparing and sending quotes and proposals.
  • Preparing content and delivering high energy and compelling presentations.
  • Continuous learning and developing product knowledge, specifically related to the technologies and services we offer.
  • Assuring client satisfaction through consistent professional communication and detailed, well defined follow up and documentation.
  • Building and leveraging strategic manufacturer relationships to develop new opportunities to grow business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales and account acquisition.
  • Minimum four years of business-to-business sales experience required.
  • Minimum five years of work experience in a professional business setting.
  • Outside sales experience is preferred.
  • Possess excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Be target driven and committed to hitting goals and activity levels. Knowledge of Social Networking platforms and CRM required.
  • Preference will be given to those with a track record in Business Development.
  • Capability of understanding client pain points, requirements and correlating potential business outcome to value that can be provided by Cerium Networks.
  • Experience in technology sales strongly desired.

Compensation

  • Base Pay Range: $80,000 to $100,000 plus commissions (OTE Year 1 @ Target = $175k, Year 2 @Target = $250k).
  • Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.?
