This position may rarely require weekend or evening work during specific times of the annual cycle for asset development and creation.

Purpose

This position will provide administrative support to the OnRamps Executive Director, facilitate communication, and coordinate special programs. The position will also be responsible for coordinating engagement at conference events and developing communications in collaboration with the OnRamps executive team.


Responsibilities
  • Completes general administrative duties for the Executive Director including drafting correspondence, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, and performing other job-related duties as assigned to ensure effective operations of OnRamps business needs. Provides. sustained contributions to ongoing initiatives, as well as just-in-time assistance with seasonal, unexpected, and urgent projects.
  • Strategically plans and coordinates a comprehensive year-long calendar to support OnRamps initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Oversees the execution of monthly internal and external events, including community-building efforts, to effectively meet OnRamps' needs. Manages and coordinates various on- and off-campus activities and special events such as advisory meetings and outreach activities . Directs all related aspects of financial management and event planning.
  • Coordinates events and conference proposals, attendance, and planning across teams at the regional, state, and national level. Creates and contributes to development of meeting and conference presentations, marketing materials, swag items, one-pagers for varying audience groups (policymakers, educators, employers), and other assests as directed.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external vendors to secure timely and accurate processing of contracts and purchasing requests. Ensures alignment of conferences, event logistics, and processes with UT policies and procedures.
  • Drafts or updates communication materials including briefs, talking points, FAQs, one-pagers, brochures, etc. for various internal and external audiences to help inform and educate about OnRamps activities while ensuring messaging is aligned.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, or closely related field.
  • 3+ years experience in K12 or higher education environments.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, including copy-editing.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in developing content or assets for K12 or higher education audiences.
  • 1+ year(s) experience in non-profit development.
  • 1+ year(s) experience project management
Salary

$60,000 + depending on qualifications
