In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Perform next-generation sequencing library preparation, sequencing, and data analysis to test raw materials and in-process reagents according to defined protocols.
  • Maintain and monitor quality control lab spaces including equipment.
  • Identifies, in an effective manner, the need for documentation/process changes, process deviations, product non-conformances and other occurrences that can indicate the ineffectiveness of the quality and/or manufacturing systems.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Associate's degree and 2 years of relevant work experience OR Bachelor's degree in life sciences (biology, chemistry, biochemistry, etc.) or relevant field.
  • At least 1 year's experience in laboratory setting, including working with lab equipment, multichannel pipettes, repeating pipettes, and centrifuges
  • Experience handling enzymes, DNA, and RNA

It would be a plus if you also possess:

  • Master's degree in life sciences (biology, chemistry, biochemistry, etc.) or related field
  • Experience and familiarity working with next-generation sequencing technologies
  • Experience working in a regulated environment, especially ISO 13485

The hourly range for this role is $ $28.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
