Electronics Technician II Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician II to join our team at a leading company in Boulder, CO. As an Electronics Technician II, you will be responsible for testing and fine-tuning standard products within set deadlines, analyzing and reporting on returned units requiring Failure Analysis, and troubleshooting and repairing products to component level.

Responsibilities:
  • Product Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of electronic products to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Failure Analysis: Analyze and report on returned units requiring Failure Analysis to identify the root cause of the issue.
  • Repair and Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair products to component level, providing secondary support and conducting failure analysis.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation for all tasks performed and compile reports on testing data periodically.
  • Product Inspection: Inspect products for workmanship and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Education: Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or similar field.
  • Experience: 7+ years of manufacturing experience, including 2+ years in testing and repair of electronic products.
  • Skills: Strong manual dexterity, ability to interpret technical drawings, and proficient computer skills.
