Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Technician II to join our team at Danaher Corporation. As a key member of our Production Operations Department, you will be responsible for manufacturing next-generation sequencing library preparation reagents and kits according to defined protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture next-generation sequencing library preparation reagents and kits according to defined protocols.
  • Maintain clean room manufacturing facilities and equipment.
  • Maintain and monitor production freezers and equipment.
  • Document work in concordance with quality system guidelines.
  • Use ERP and Microsoft Office Suite software to efficiently document material manufacturing and utilization accurately.
  • Assist with physical inventory processes and movement of product.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline processes.
  • Assist other departments as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience with laboratory equipment including multichannel pipettes, repeating pipettes, and centrifuges.
  • Experience handling enzymes, DNA, and RNA.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 or ability to adhere strictly to defined protocols and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or chemistry.
  • Familiarity with Next Generation Sequencing technologies.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, including entering transactions and completing production orders.
