We are currently seeking a Technical Operations Risk Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United States (US).

This position can be in Charlotte, NC, Chandler, AZ, or Des Moines, IA.

Role Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

- Oversee activities within Application & Cloud Transformation. This role includes

- Monitor aggregate operational risk of Application & Cloud Transformation as a Technology business unit as well as a transformational engine.

- Influence risk management outcomes.

- Build and deploy applications, enterprise pipeline tools, cloud computing, generative AI, identify and access management, architecture, API and microservices, platforms, and Agile methodologies.

- Conduct, monitor, and evaluate technological adherence to policies and procedures.

- Develop risk reports in response to management, audit, or regulatory requirements.

- Problem solving, root cause analysis, issue management or similar experience in continuous improvement of processes, controls, technology solutions.

- Prepare and deliver complex data for an executive audience in a way that is concise and understandable.

Basic Qualifications:

- 7+ years of Operational Risk experience

- 5+ years of information technology experience with cloud technology deployment or risk oversight.

- Strong proficiency with Generative AI deployment, architecture, or risk oversight, with demonstrated experience with Google Gemini.

- Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform or SAAS.

- Experience with regulatory requirements, particularly those impacting cloud or AI delivery.

- Information Technology (IT) operations, security, operational risk management, quality assurance, compliance, or business process management experience.

Nice to have:

- RCSA (risk and control self-assessment)

- Certifications in Technology and/or Information Security disciplines. (CCSP, CISP, CRISC, CISM, CISA, or similar)

Education:

- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science or applicable experience
