JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for a
** Functional Team Lead
** for our IT department at our headquarters in greater Kansas City. In this role you will be responsible for participating in discovery efforts, platform evaluation and selections in conjunction with development counterparts to determine feasibility of team or functional goals and objectives. Other essential functions include:
Will partner with Business Analysts, Enterprise Stakeholders and Development teams to craft solutions and justify project impacts (benefits, risks and dependencies) and return on investment
Proactively identify and contribute to the resolution of ancillary discrepancies and conflicts between interdepartmental applications and strategic channels on an enterprise level.
Manage reconciliation and drive consensus regarding business tactical and strategic direction
Recruit, develop and retain a high performing team including conducting annual performance evaluations
Monitor progress of the team in meeting deliverables and schedule compliance
Plan and schedule work, including the allocation of resources and planning team members work.
Must be able to work independently and with high degree of competency
Actively implement continuous improvement on an enterprise level for business processes and IT business analysis processes.
Set the tone for the team environment and build health team relationships.
Demonstrate quality and effectiveness in documenting work in organized manner in accordance with Garmin and IT standards
Qualified candidates possess a Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or other relevant field AND 5 years experience OR an equivalent combination of experience and education. Other requirements include:
Demonstrated prior leadership experience
Awareness and understanding across a portfolio of applications/ technologies
Ability to provide consultation for functional and technical solutions
Experience managing the implementation of internet applications (WCM, e-Commerce applications, CRM, Call Center, etc.)
Previous experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and a PMI-PBA, CBAP, or scummaster certification is highly preferred
