The Structured Finance team at RWE Clean Energy, LLC is pivotal in securing external project financing, particularly tax equity financing, for large-scale renewable energy projects to drive RWE's expansion and financial goals. Collaborating closely with investors, external consultants, and internal teams, the Structured Finance team ensures efficient execution of financing deals to advance RWE's strategic ambitions. As a Manager within the Structured Finance team, you will spearhead renewable energy financing transactions, contributing significantly to the team's success.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct valuation modeling for tax equity transactions and other financing agreements
  • Coordinate various workstreams for successful financing execution, including managing due diligence
  • Support senior deal members in deal structuring and negotiation of deal documentation
  • Lead different workstreams critical for financing execution, such as structuring transaction economics, negotiating deal terms, and overseeing due diligence
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
  • Assist other finance team areas as needed, including quality control inspections and gate process support
  • Suggest and drive process enhancements
  • Participate in internal ad hoc projects
Qualifications:
  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree (mandatory) with a focus on business, finance, accounting, tax, or another analytical field
  • Consideration for an MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree is a plus
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in a finance role emphasizing financial model maintenance and investment presentations
  • Proficient in renewable energy project economics (especially wind, solar, or storage) and associated incentive mechanisms (mandatory)
  • Experience in modeling tax equity partnership flip structures or similar project finance models (mandatory)
  • Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint, including extensive knowledge of Excel formulas and model creation (mandatory)
  • Team-oriented individual capable of independent work and collaboration in cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication with solid written and presentation aptitude
  • Effective organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deliverables
  • Self-motivated, goal-focused, and adept at problem resolution
