We are seeking a highly experienced Director, Structured Finance to join our team at RWE Clean Energy, LLC. As a key member of our Finance / Controlling department, you will play a crucial role in securing project financing for large-scale renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities- Market and Originate: Direct marketing and origination activities with tax equity investors and tax credit buyers to secure project financing.
- Financial Analysis: Evaluate financing options to maximize returns and meet strategic and financial criteria.
- Transaction Leadership: Lead structuring, negotiation, and due diligence for tax equity transactions.
- Project Management: Manage various workstreams for successful financing execution.
- Team Development: Provide coaching and development to team members.
- Process Improvement: Lead process improvement initiatives.
- Internal Support: Assist with internal projects.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, accounting, tax, or related field.
- Advanced Degree: MBA or similar postgraduate degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in financing modeling and renewable energy projects.
- Industry Expertise: Minimum 5 years of finance experience in US renewable energy industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of renewable energy project economics and tax equity structures.
- Relationship Building: Experience in marketing and building relationships with investors.
- Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinker with problem-solving abilities.
- Communication and Project Management: Strong communication and project management skills.
