The Manager, Structured Finance is expected to have substantial experience in leading financing transactions within the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee valuation modeling for tax equity transactions and other financing structures.
  • Coordinate essential workstreams to ensure the successful execution of financing transactions, including management of due diligence.
  • Support senior team members in structuring deals and negotiating relevant documentation.
  • Manage various workstreams crucial for executing financing transactions, taking a lead role in structuring transaction economics, negotiating documentation, and overseeing due diligence.
  • Provide mentorship and development opportunities for junior team members.
  • Assist other finance divisions as needed, including conducting quality control reviews and supporting the gate process.
  • Propose and spearhead initiatives for process improvements.
  • Contribute to various internal ad hoc projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, accounting, tax, or a related analytical field.
  • An MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in roles focused on maintaining financial models and investment presentations.
  • In-depth knowledge of renewable energy project economics, particularly in wind, solar, or storage, and associated incentive systems is essential.
  • Experience in modeling tax equity partnership flip structures or similar project finance models is required.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to apply innovative thinking to complex challenges.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with advanced skills in Excel formulas and model creation.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong presentation abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deliverables.
  • A motivated self-starter with a goal-oriented mindset and robust problem-solving skills.
