Purpose of Position:
Provide over-the-phone, remote, and desk-side support services to end users technical issues related to usage of computer hardware, software and mobile devices. Specialist will respond to inquiries via telephone, email, and walk-in requests for technical support from end users. Troubleshoot incidents as well as provide knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within field. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform functions of the job.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Consistently deliver excellent customer service as first level telephone, digital communication, and walk-in support contact.

• Document, track, monitor, and follow up on all assigned issues ensuring timely resolution to include but not limited to:
o Password Resets
o User setups
o Application support
o Hardware support
o Phone swaps/support
o Workstation / laptop configurations
o Workstation / laptop imaging
o Printer / copier service

• Work with senior level technicians and specialists to escalate Level 2 and above issues to appropriate support groups

• A solid understanding of core technologies and troubleshooting methodologies in the area of information systems. (i.e., networking, telephony, operating systems, hardware, security, etc.)

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Accountability:

• Comply with all company policies and procedures.

• Prompt, punctual, and regular attendance during core business hours, in an office environment (not a telecommuting position), currently located in the Stapleton area of Denver, including a reliable means of transport to and from work. Ability to occasionally travel between corporate offices and jobsites within the Denver Metro Area, during work hours.

• All employees are accountable for safety and health and are empowered to stop work if an unsafe condition is present. Employees should immediately notify their supervisor so that the hazard may be corrected.

Minimum Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.

• Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required, 1+ year's work experience in a Help Desk environment preferred

• MCSE, MCP, CompTIA A+ and Network+ are preferred but not required.

• Receives direct supervision.

• Use problem solving skills to troubleshoot problems or situations

Construction background/knowledge a plus
