What to Expect

Assists in the planning, developing, and evaluating of a full-service Marina for a large community of active-duty military, dependents, retirees, and authorized civilians.

Responsible for the economic and efficient operations to include, but not limited to; slip rental, watercraft rental, fishing equipment rental, and related retail operations.

Coordinates and schedules recurring activities, special events and community undertakings to maximize use of facilities and resources at multiple locations.

Instructs individual and group participants in those activities for which the employee has technical expertise. Conducts safety and security inspections of the marina facilities, surrounding outdoor areas, and associated equipment. Assists in the maintenance and repair of boats and equipment. May conduct certification classes for motorboat and sailing operations.

This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45 lbs independently and objects over 45 lbs with assistance.

Performs other duties as assigned.
