About the Role

At PlayPlay, we believe Business Development Representatives (BDRs) are fundamental to the success and growth of our company. A company can have the best product in the world and it doesn't matter if there's no one there to use it.

You will focus on driving new business by sourcing, establishing and building relationships with customers over the phone, by email, and through social outreach. We are scaling at a rapid pace and we are looking for candidates who embrace a challenge, are eager to learn, adaptable, and have the passion to be successful.

We will provide you with all the right tools, training, and support–you just need to bring your energy, drive, and grit. The skills and experience you gain from this role will set you up for a successful career in tech and we are determined to get you there.

What You'll Do

  • Research and identify new client opportunities based on ideal client profiles and their needs in target accounts
  • Apply sales development best practices to engage with prospects via email, phone and social outreach, articulating the value of our product against their needs
  • Utilize discovery and objection handling strategies to speak knowledgeably with decision makers and to build interest in our offerings
  • Coordinate meetings on an Account Executive's calendar and log activities in Salesforce
  • Meet monthly and quarterly qualified meeting and revenue quotas
  • Complete accurate tracking of activity in Salesforce, Salesloft, and other tools

Requirements

  • Native English is mandatory
  • Must be able to come into the NYC office (Flatiron) at least 3 days a week
  • Experience in Sales, at a SaaS/Tech company, or in a fast-paced environment preferred, but not required
  • Experience with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, G-Suite is preferred but not required

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Work in a hybrid office model (3 days/week)
  • A competitive total compensation ($80-86K): base salary ($60-66K depending on experience) + UNCAPPED commissions ($20K OTE)
