As the FP&A Manager, you'll report to our Head of FP&A, [Will Cheung]), and work towards driving the future of competitive mobile gaming. Your financial acumen will guide our decisions towards future successes and outcomes.

You'll build financial models, manage your business units, and collaborate with key stakeholders to drive platform and product advancements across Skillz.


Job Description:

  • 6+ years of experience in an FP&A role, including midlevel or higher leadership experience within the FP&A function.
  • Responsible for producing and maintaining accurate cohortbased financial models to support Skillz's operating plan. Deliver BvA analysis and updated operating models for respective business areas.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to crossfunctional business partners (Product
  • Consumer and Developer, Engineering, Partnerships). Own financial modeling to help maximize ROI.
  • Gaming industry experience (ideally). Alternatively a strong passion for gaming + a deep understanding of our products.
  • Startup experience: Proven ability to thrive in a startuplike environment, with a proactive mindset, strong initiative, and a track record of taking ownership of analytics processes and driving results.
  • Healthy tenure: Demonstrated stability and commitment in previous roles, with a track record of staying in positions for 2 or more years. Internal promotions within organizations are highly valued, indicating strong career progression and contributions to company success.
  • Las Vegas local or willingness to relocate: Preference for candidates who are currently located in Las Vegas or willing to relocate to Vegas prior to startdate.
  • Starting Total Compensation 180K+
