Role: Major Incident Manager

Experience: 10 – 14 years of strong experience

Job Location: Detroit, Michigan

Responsibilities:

· Major incident commander to drive critical triage calls to resolution.

· Keep a tab on updates and communication shared with Senior leaderships.

· Keep time clock on workarounds and resolution actions being implemented.

· Track notes for the entire duration of the triage.

· Engage required teams to analyze the issue and take it to a resolution.

· Strong communication skills and ability to navigate and work with multiple senior leaders in the call.

· Ready to connect to triage calls at any time of the day.

Must Have Skills:

· Should have played Major Incident Manager role.

· Strong ITIL process knowledge Service Now skills

· Understanding of technical landscape and terminologies used

· Excellent communication skills

· Ability to sense urgency and impact of problems and escalate as required.

Work Authorization: Cognizant will only consider applicants who are legally authorized to work in the United States.

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position will depend on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
