Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Lab Supervisor you will assist the manager in overseeing the daily operational functions of the lab. You will serve as a primary resource for daily operations including decision-making, response to problems, identifying errors and taking corrective actions.

You will coordinate staffing schedules.

Manage inventory and ordering of lab supplies.

You will assist in orienting new lab employees to the department and provide ongoing staff development and in-services to all lab employees.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Sciences or related field.

ASCP/NCA National Certification or equivalent.

Five (5) or more years of experience as a Medical Technologist (MT).

Two (2) or more years of Supervisory/Management experience.

Situated in Portsmouth, NH, Portsmouth Regional Hospital is a premier 234-bed acute care facility that offers exceptional healthcare services to the Seacoast region of Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire. This hospital is the sole ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center on the Seacoast of New Hampshire, making it an essential resource for the community. It boasts the regions only comprehensive heart and vascular program, along with 24/7 comprehensive neurosurgical and stroke clot retrieval programs for both hemorrhagic and ischemic strokes.
