Randstad is recruiting for a full time Medical Coding Specialist in Lexington Kentucky. This is a temp to hire opportunity. 4 day work week, Monday-Thursday, 35-40 hours per week. Ideal applicant will have 2+ years experience in Medical Coding and possess either an AAPC or AHIMA coding certificate. Health Information associate's degree preferred.

salary: $20 - $24 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

  • Collecting, posting, and managing account payments from medical billing
  • Submitting claims
  • Working denials
  • Following up with insurance companies and patients to ensure appropriate collection of medical claims
  • Maintaing Preventative Medicaid and Manage Care Organizations
  • Setting up and maintaining Electronic Funds Transfer accounts with Medicaid
The essential functions of this role include
