Position Summary

This position is responsible for all Casino Games operations by performing the following duties personally and/or through subordinate staff. Possesses thorough knowledge of Gila River Gaming Internal Controls, policies, procedures, Tribal Gaming Office, Compact and State Gaming Regulations. Ensures that Casino Games is in regulatory compliance with the Tribal Gaming Office, State Gaming Authority, internal controls, and standard operating procedures.

Essential Duties And Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Responsible for the overall operations of all Casino Games areas including Table Games, Poker, Sportsbook, and Bingo as well as any gaming operations subsequently added. Responsibilities extend to team members, record keeping, and customer service concerns. Ensures that all Casino Games personnel adheres to and complies with company policies, standards, and applicable government regulations.

· Provides leadership and direction to the entire department ensuring that all team members are informed of any pertinent communication that relates to their area.

· Assists the Corporate Director of Casino Games and the property General Manager in establishing current and long-range objectives for Casino Games.

· Assists the Corporate Director of Casino Games and General Manager in preparing and reviewing financials including variances, statistical fluctuations, and investment expenditures.

· Assists the Corporate Director of Casino Games in the development and review of analytics in order to foster growth in operational revenue.

· Monitors staffing levels and scheduling and initiates interviews and hiring. Recommends department employees for promotions as appropriate.

· Ensures adequate inventory of gaming equipment and supplies. Responsible for making requests for gaming purchases.

· Works with Corporate Director of Casino Games and property General Manager to develop promotions and initiatives for player retention and activation.

· Keeps Casino Games staff up to date on gaming industry news, property information, and Gila River programs affecting the operation.

· Fulfills Table Games Shift Manager duties as needed.

· Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or lateness.

· Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises multiple team members. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education And/Or Experience

1. High School Diploma or GED required.

2. Three years of management experience required.

3. Table Games experience with blackjack and other Table Games required.

4. Familiarity with all rules and regulations of the gaming industry; as well as hands-on knowledge of blackjack and other varieties of casino games.

5. Must be able to perform in a calm and responsible manner in emergencies.

6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

7. This position must have, or an ability to acquire within one year, an in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of Enterprise Policies and Procedures, governmental regulations, and technical rules relevant to their responsibilities, such as the following:

· National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC)

· Minimum Internal Controls Standards (MICS)

· State Gaming Compact between Gila River Indian Community/State of Arizona

· Gila River Indian Community-Tribal Gaming Ordinance

· GRGE Gaming Internal Control Standards which includes Enterprise and Departmental Policies and Procedures
