Job Overview

Position Summary: The Assistant Beverage Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional service and operational excellence within a vibrant gaming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding guest service experiences to both internal and external patrons.
  • Oversee all facets of beverage management within a casino setting.
  • Guarantee adherence to all responsible alcohol service regulations.
  • Assist in guiding team members on proper alcohol handling, cash management, and workplace safety protocols.
  • Maintain a reliable attendance record with minimal absences or tardiness.
  • Engage in additional projects and responsibilities as required.

Supervisory Duties:

Directly supervises a team of employees, executing supervisory responsibilities in alignment with the organization's policies and relevant laws.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Previous experience in food and beverage management is essential.
  • Experience in a high-volume bar, restaurant, or nightclub is advantageous.
  • Must obtain and uphold a valid Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, Blood-Borne Pathogens training, and other necessary compliance certifications.
  • Exhibit the GILA WAY principles: Greet, Interact positively, Listen actively, and Appreciate our guests.
  • Possess excellent guest service abilities, strong telephone manners, and be a proactive individual capable of completing tasks efficiently with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to foster and maintain effective working relationships and gain cooperation from guests and team members.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • This role requires, or the ability to acquire within one year, comprehensive knowledge of Enterprise Policies and Procedures, relevant regulations, and technical guidelines pertinent to the responsibilities.
