Job Overview

Position Summary: The Assistant Beverage Operations Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional service and operational excellence within the beverage department of a casino environment.

Supervisory Duties:

Directly supervises a team of employees, executing supervisory responsibilities in alignment with organizational policies and applicable regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Previous experience in food and beverage management is essential.
  • Experience in a high-volume bar, restaurant, or nightclub setting is preferred.
  • Must obtain and maintain necessary certifications, including a valid Food Handlers Card and Alcohol Awareness Certification.
  • Exhibit the GILA WAY: Greet, Interact, Listen, and Appreciate our guests.
  • Possess strong guest service skills, excellent telephone etiquette, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Establish and nurture effective working relationships with guests and team members.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must develop a comprehensive understanding of relevant policies, regulations, and technical guidelines within one year.

As a condition of employment, candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment alcohol/drug test and a background check.
