Position SummaryThe Financial Analyst will support the FP&A department by conducting detailed financial analysis, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, and providing insights to enhance decision-making processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within the FP&A team, as well as demonstrating the GILA WAY.
Essential Duties And Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.· Perform detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario planning.
· Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
· Assist in the development of the annual budget and periodic financial forecasts.
· Monitor budget performance, analyze variances between actual results, and budget/forecast.
· Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
· Analyze financial data and trends to inform forecasts and strategic recommendations.
· Prepare and distribute financial reports and dashboards to senior management and other stakeholders.
· Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
· Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights.
· Support the development and implementation of performance management frameworks.
· Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost savings.
· Evaluate the financial viability of potential investments and projects.
· Support ad hoc financial analysis and projects as requested by the Corporate Director of FP&A.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support.
· Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or lateness.
· Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position does not hold direct supervisory responsibility, but does hold influencing responsibility in areas related to finance and accounting subjects and functions.

Education And/Or Experience1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field preferred.
2 Five (5) years' experience in accounting and financial concepts, preferably in a casino/gaming environment OR five (5) years of increasingly responsible management experience in analytical related roles.

6 Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
