ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Receive training and administer TX State assessments to K12 Texas students
  • Attend/complete required online and inperson training sessions and/or Test Administrator meetings
  • Read the State and School Test Administration Manual and Test Administrator Directions for all tests you will administer
  • Travel to test site you are assigned to
  • Set up tables, chairs, and computer lab
  • Maintain and confirm that all equipment is up to date and in working order
  • Sign students into the test site and collect emergency contact forms
  • Read Test scripts and follow all TX State Test Security policies and procedures
  • Actively monitor students while they are completing assessments
  • Provide and maintain a safe and orderly testing environment
  • Accurately code test information in database/complete paperwork
  • Monitor hallways/bathrooms during testing to ensure student safety and testing confidentiality

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma
  • Computer Software/Hardware: To perform this job successfully, an individual will need general computer knowledge to set up computer labs, access student test data, and attend online training sessions.
  • Travel: Ability to travel to/from local testing sites
  • Ability to clear required background check
  • Ability to submit fingerprints at a field print location near your residence

Certificates and Licenses:
None required.

Residency Requirement:

  • This position is virtual and strongly prefer residents of Texas. May consider residents of surrounding states (NM, OK, AR or LA). This position could include travel up to 20% of the time for facetoface professional development, student testing, and/or as required by the school.

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong Attention to Detail
  • Punctuality/Dependability/Ethics: an individual MUST be able to commit to being at the test site on the dates indicated during the times needed.
  • Be physically able to perform duties: lift test boxes weighting 2030 lbs, arrange tables and chairs, able to stand for long periods

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior TX state assessment testing experience
