The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston is seeking individuals to oversee examination environments. This role is designed for those who can commit to working a few days each week, ensuring adherence to testing protocols and maintaining the integrity of the examination process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and supervise examinations, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
  • Engage with faculty regarding examination content and scheduling.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding any irregularities or issues.
  • Guide and mentor less experienced proctors to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Prepare various test formats and manage electronic grading processes.
  • Utilize audiovisual equipment to support examination procedures.
  • Maintain a conducive testing atmosphere and accurate records of student progress.
  • Schedule examinations for students, ensuring limited attendance for optimal conditions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A High School Diploma is required; an Associate degree is preferred. Candidates should possess at least two years of experience in examination procedures, record management, and familiarity with audiovisual equipment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently to move objects.
