We are looking for a Project Engineer / Project Manager based in Houston, TX, or Tulsa, OK, to support RNG client with at least 8 years of experience with Renewable Natural Gas (RNG).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage project schedules using Microsoft Project to ensure each project is completed within the given timeframe.
  • Manage the project budget with regards to project resources, equipment purchases, and outside contractors.
  • Manage changes in scope and design including cost, resources, and schedule.
  • Generate, review and/or comment on technical documents such as P&ID, process flow diagrams, general arrangement drawings, 3D models, and others.
  • Manage resources from different departments within the company.
  • Manage external contractors and EPCs from an owner-project manager's perspective.
  • Review, negotiate and approve terms and conditions with outside contractors and suppliers.
  • Issue purchase order requisitions and manage delivery progress of purchased parts and equipment.
  • Continually monitor and report on project performance. This includes creating monthly project update reports for all stakeholders within the company.
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing project documents.
  • Lead project meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Create and distribute meeting minutes.
    Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project engineering and management, with a focus on renewable energy projects.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing RNG projects from conception to operations , including project planning, execution, and optimization.
    • Assisting with the development and execution of project scope and schedule, from FEED (Front End Engineering Design) studies through to project delivery and ongoing operations.
    • Assisting with all applicable pre-commissioning & commissioning related activities.
    • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. Master's or higher is a plus.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Strong organizational skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
    • Proficiency in risk identification and management.
    • Familiarity with process design practices and related engineering elements.
    • P.E. license preferred
