Parexel Biotech takes a consultative approach to develop tailored strategies that help companies achieve their objectives throughout the journey from discovery, proof of concept, development, registration and ultimately commercialization. We are committed to service our clients in an integrated manner across the company and provide clients with easier access to the right expertise at Parexel.

The Consultative Sales Director will work closely with Commercial Operations, SBU Delivery, Solutions Consultants, and Clients and Partners.

Responsible for identifying, targeting, and securing new business across all SBUs, through professional, consultative, proactive sales activities directed at decision-makers and decision influencersAnticipate client questions; uncover clients' unique needs and become the focal point for discussing, representing and selling Parexel's integrated solutions across all SBUsLead proposal strategy and development in collaboration with Business Operations to ensure client needs are addressed and resourcing/pricing is appropriate to win the business and meet margin targetsDrive the entire sales process in close collaboration with the Solutions Consultants and Commercial Operations and ensures smooth transition to deliveryMaintain close relationships with delivery teams for identification of new opportunities to ensure account growthCollaborate with marketing, inside sales, Solution Consultants, and commercialoperations to obtain thorough knowledge of the competitive landscape and high priority opportunities. Aggressively pursue awareness of competitive activities, positioning and pricing, which includes specific reasons for awards and non-awardsExecute on your assigned territory/account sales strategy to gain market share and build high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty

Experience and Education

Prior Experience in B2B sales role, preferably in a CRO, Life Sciences Company or Consulting background specializing in Life SciencesExperience with drug development and Phase II/III services highly desirableExperience selling clinical services required, market access services a plusBS degree required; advanced degree preferred.
