POSITION SUMMARY The Floor Technician candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of all floor areas and for sustaining ambitious standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Must be able to operate machines to include riding scrubber, high speed burnisher, and low speed side-by-side machines.
Candidate will be responsible for removing spots from carpets and performing bonnet and extraction carpet cleaning.
Candidate will be responsible for all hard flooring and carpet care in assigned areas.
Candidate must be willing to wear adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) when working with chemicals and equipment.

To be successful in this role, you will protect passengers and teammates by keeping floors free from harmful microorganisms while being mindful of slip, trip, and fall hazards.

Preferred candidates are motivated and able to work with numerous interruptions overnight.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise the work activities of Team Members.
Inspect completed scheduled work for conformance to standards.
Communicate day to day job-site objectives to team members using the appropriate tools.
Train and develop team members.
Provide input into appropriate discipline decisions related to team members.
Develop team members to ensure customers receive excellent service.
Cleaning floors in stairwells, jetways, restrooms, hallways, other communal areas.
Moving furniture before and after cleaning as needed.
Dust-mopping, mopping, stripping, and waxing floors.
Measuring chemicals correctly.
Cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment and PPE proficiently.
Keeping an inventory of floor areas, and scheduling cleaning and maintenance duties.
Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor.
Additional duties as assigned by management QUALIFICATIONS Two to five years of floor care experience.
Floor maintenance experience preferred.
High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent preferred.
Completion of drug test.
Completion of on-the-job training.
Undeterred by exposure to hazardous chemicals.
Resilient to noise.
Physically agile.
